How cheese bread possibly saved my life today..
You know those days you have a MAJOR craving for something? Like, you can't get it off your mind until you eat it! Well, today was one of those days for me. Papa John's cheeeesy bread with garlic. MMM...I just had to have it.
I was out to a movie (Tron is awesome!) with a friend when afterwards we decided to head to walmart and get some things. Ice cream came to mind, yet we remembered it's like 3 bucks cheaper at the local Dollar General.
So, we decided to head to Dollar General. On our way there, I HAD to stop and get Papa John's Cheesey bread, since it had been on my mind all day. It took approx. 10 mins and went on our way to $ General, which is just down the street.
Upon pulling into the parking lot, 2 cop cars are just getting there, too. We don't think much of it and head inside....where they immediately tell us we need to leave because there had just been an armed robbery!! What? Really? So, if we had been here 5-10 minutes earlier we would have been a part of this armed robbery?? It seemed so unreal and I immediately was VERY grateful for my craving for Papa John's Cheese bread!! WOW! So, there must have been a bigger reason for me craving cheesy bread today.
Moral of the story: Don't take your food cravings for granted! They might just end up saving your life or sanity!

Grades, Yoga, & Beau Berger
It's been very interesting since school ended in December.
I was stuck all Christmas break with a "hold" on my grades that was not supposed to be there. Plus, I could not get in contact with anyone from school to remove it since they would not return until January 3rd. Finally, after many apologies from the librarian bc of the hold, I was happy to learn I got 3 A's and frustrated that my Psychology teacher gave me a lousy C. Yet, overall, I'm happy with a 3.5 GPA. And thankful to be done with all my English requirements!! Since I currently have no studying to do and no job, I've been trying to focus on working out. I'd like to thank Jamee Andelin for the Yogalosophy DVD. I am officially addicted. I never thought I could love yoga so much! I love the way it makes me feel and I can see my body slowly transforming. It's definitely motivating to compare my body to Mandy Ingber's perfectly scultped one. If only I could get a grip on what I eat. Anyone have pointers on building self control with food?? I have.....none!
It was so much fun having Stevie and Beau here. They left way too soon! Beau is adorable and you can't help but smile at everything he does. And Stevie is an amazing mom, as I expected.
Until next time,
Me
